Senior Picnic

The Class of 2024 Senior Picnic is Friday, May 3rd from 11am - 2pm. 

 

The event is FREE for seniors thanks to your Team 2024 dues!

 

The picnic will be help at the RHS football stadium. We will have food trucks for lunch and dessert. We will have photo opportunities, inflatables, games and more! 

 

In case of inclement weather, the picnic will moved inside RHS.

For the picnic, students should:

  • Wear a college shirt or a shirt that represents their post-high school plans

  • Bring a blanket or beach towel

  • Wear plenty of sunscreen

                                       

Senior Walk at Elementary Schools

On Tuesday, May 21st and Wednesday, May 22nd, graduating seniors throughout Williamson County Schools get the chance to walk the halls of their elementary school while the students and faculty cheer them on. Due to lack of parking at the elementary schools, TEAM 2024 will be providing buses to Crockett and Sunset – students may NOT drive themselves to these schools. Seniors will wear their caps and gowns for this event. The event times vary based on the elementary school schedules.

Tuesday, May 21st:

  • Sunset Elementary – Bus will depart RHS at 11:15pm

Wednesday, May 22nd:

  • Crockett Elementary – Bus will depart RHS at 9:00am
  • Kenrose Elementary – Seniors will walk from the RHS stadium parking lot at 11:45am
  • Clovercroft Elementary – meet at Clovercroft at 9:00am – Seniors drive themselves

To participate in these walkthroughs, students must complete and return a field trip permission form.

Graduation Rehearsal & Breakfast

On Friday, May 24th, graduating seniors will have a MANDATORY graduation rehearsal at RHS. 

There will be sign-in tables at the RHS entrance and breakfast of Chick-fil-A and Dunkin’ Donuts from TEAM 2024. There will be gluten free items available. Students are required to attend practice if they want to participate in the graduation ceremony on Saturday.

  • Students will receive their cords and 10 guest tickets for the graduation ceremony at rehearsal. 
  • To participate in the graduation practice, all debts such as book fees and library fines must be paid and all uniforms, Chromebooks, and charging cords must be returned. Please take care of this by Wednesday, May 22nd.

Graduation Day Information for Families

  • For parents and guests, doors to the Curb Center will open at 9am. Those arriving before 9am will wait in the Atrium. ONLY graduates will be allowed into the holding area (parents and guests may not enter this area). Please remember to bring your tickets.
  • Information from Belmont: Belmont does not permit large bags, backpacks, laser pointers, glass items, selfie sticks, large recording devices, balloons, noisemakers, wrapped gifts, signs, or banners. Weapons, alcoholic beverages, outside food, and drinks are also strictly prohibited in the Curb Event Center. All patrons and bags are subject to a security search. Please make your guests aware of this.
  • Belmont will only allow clear bagsnot exceeding 12” x 6” x 12”, or a small clutch bag
  • The ceremony will conclude around 11:45am. Immediately after the customary throwing of hats, we need to begin exiting the floor, so please be sure that parents and graduates have arranged a post-ceremony meeting spot outside of the arena.

Handicapped Parking:

  • All levels of the parking garage have ADA parking. Take the elevator to level three. Accessible seating is located on the main level of the arena. There will be ushers to assist.

Graduation Pictures:

  • Lifetouch Photography will take a still photo of each graduate receiving their diploma and you will have the opportunity to purchase this photo.

Graduation announcements are now available to order. Orders take approximately three weeks from time of order to process. Order HERE.

  • Saturday, May 1811:00 am:  Baccalaureate at Brentwood Baptist Church (optional event, all are welcome)
  • Monday, May 20th: Senior Final Exams for 8th & 7th periods
  • Tuesday, May 21st: Senior Final Exam for 6th period
  • Tuesday, May 21st and Wednesday, May 22nd: Senior Walk-Throughs at Elementary Schools
